that game is great! well, the only thing is you have to do always the same things over and over, so it can get boring after a while... but until then, that game is ok. lol

I love that game but I did get a bit bored with doing the same things. I might give it another try one day soon though.

i got on there yesterday, i'm kaymuggle, but chose a wrong speciality, i chose dark arts instead of mystical powers, but from there, i'm stuck, people kept telling me to fight, but can't seem to find the right links to do that sort of thing. How do i go forward? any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I was bored today and decided to get back into HL, not having much luck though. I'm stuck on the eighth level of the second year and keep losing fights in the Dueling Club. grrr! Trying to figure out how I can get more experience.

I'm stil fairly evil, about 188, but I'm getting good. The last snowy owl I had on there seemed to hate me and wouldn't play with me or let me feed her or anything, so I traded her in for 3000 gold and got a new one. He likes to play and everything and isn't so boring, perhaps because I'm getting good.

I've done it! I'm good plus 62, but I've just been killed off in the Diagon Alley battle Arena. Aw'w'w'w'w'w'w'w'w! (punches desk hard! Boom'm'm'm'm!)
Tips on getting good and gaining loads and loads of those ever-so-important experience points lollol. To get good - either, help the children get out of the well, don't destroy them, give Robin Hood and his men all the gold you have on hand so they give it to the poor and spare the young nobleman after you've dualled him, don't dispatch him and walk the small girl back to the village and walk the old man in to town and rescue the princess from the cicillian kidnapper. Best go for his glass of wine. In Diagon Alley, buy the red apples from Siche's apple shop and look at the comics in Skies Bookstore and sellect Green arrow from those to gain litterally, about 6000 experience points in a day if you're incredibly lucky.

It's an alright game, I suppose. Although, having played Legend of the Green Dragon, it's annoying to see how much they've taken from that game, modified ever so slightly, and used as theirs. Not sure what the rules are with the whole creative commons license thing, so this could all be perfectly legal. Lol.
I'm sure it is perfectly legal. I've had to start over again on HL. My old Dumbledoresbabe account buggered up and corrupted itself, so I'm still sending countless petitions to the Admins about it so they can wipe it off the map, but I'm now Dumbledoresmate and can't get off sodding level 2 and on to lovely level 3.
hey..did you all hear about the changes there meant to be making to the game?
looks like soon, there will only be 7 years, and you have to start taking real lessons
O wow! Sounds more er, challenging and interesting. Shame we won't hit the Ministry of Magic and stuff anymore. I'm now enchantress Dumbledoresmate on level 3, so what'll happen to things like the accounts if people've fought you know who 11 times and there will only be 7 years?

I think they're having fairly major problems with their server. The message of the day always says they'l open Registration again permanently once they've sorted the server out.
Great. So how do we know when they'll reopen?
HL is pretty cool. I have been playing it for over 12 months. I have been the founder of 32 clans and co founder of another clan.
I heard the game will be closed in July for the reset when the entire game will be reset and changed completely.
The reset is to make the game more like the HP books, and also to help fix the major server problems they have been having.

My question is "How long?" I know they're making changes, but I'm just on the edge of my seat. I've been looking for some sort of accessible Harry Potter game for ages, so when I saw this topic, I was happy as hell. *smile* That would make sense to have them change it to make it more like the books. Did someone say exactly like the books?
The reset was supposed to happen last october but they had to change the date at the last minute. Just the other day I heard it will happen in July.
When I say like the books, I mean, to challenge teachers you take classes and answer questions and stuff, I think (not possitive) they are having a quidditch game, Only goes to 7th year, a limit of i think 300 HP (hitpoints) and a few other things to make it harder. Something about dwellings to but I cant remember that much.

Unfortunately, you can't sign up for the game right now. The new server will be up when edmund has a chance to transfer all our files over. It was only ready just last Friday. Until the new server comes though, I'll be happy to help any of you if there's anything I can do.
